When I contacted Kelvin at the last minute about moving us out of a third-floor walk-up in Covent Garden I was amazed to find that he and his team were extremely cheerful, careful, hard-working and attentive to anything whatsoever that might make me unhappy about the business of getting too much stuff down the stairs and out the door. They clapped and cheered at the end of the day. Six months later, when they brought all that stuff to our new home in South Wales, it was the same again. Nothing was too much trouble. They solved problems that had nothing to do with the move. Complicated pieces which they'd carefully dissassembled in London (a sofa bed, a lovely glass table with drop-down wings) were just as carefully reassembled again in Wales. I cannot speak too highly of their customer service and especially of the way they made it almost pleasant to be moving house.

If you have to use removals - uou can't do better than Allen and Young Customer Service Quality Value Kelvin, and his team really set our house move off to a good start. They took the dishevelled state of our home in good spirits as we dismantled 16 years of family life. The only comments they ever made were compliments/ at both our old and our new house. They packed our fragile and electric items fantastically well and labelled everything clearly enough that we have had no trouble unpacking. And they cheerfully put up with the many boxes we had packed far less expertly. Kelvin did his best to keep the costs reasonable. It was a very long day and not one of the team complained or slacked. Our friends commented on how hard they were working right up to the end- traipsing up and down three flights of stairs

Really appreciated Allen and Young's service from start to finish. A very reasonable quote with (unlike some removal companies) no hidden costs; friendly and helpful staff, all done in good time and with appropriate care - no breakages or other damage. Would definitely use them again.

Adding another new great review for Allen & Young! (New review 2023) This is the third time we engaged Allen & Young! We moved from a 4 bedroom house to another 4 bedroom house. This time we have them pack everything up as well as unbox all the contents. They also removed the packing materials. Kelvin and his crew are very professional, experienced and polite. They made the entire process fuss free and took our stress away. Kelvin clearly communicated their ETAs, amount of time needed and requirements ahead of time. The crew arrived on time on each occasion and finished the job early! We'd recommend them anytime! (previous review 2019) We used Allen and Young recently to move into a medium rise flat. Kelvin and his crew arrived on time and were very efficient. They gave a fairly accurate initial estimate before the move and the job was finished within the time frame. They took great care of our belongings and were careful not to scratch the new place. Everything was handled professionally. Highly recommended!

I used Allen and Young to pack up and move from my flat in August 2022. They packed everything extremely carefully, and were good humoured throughout the process. They arranged storage, and six months later - February 2023 - they moved my belongings from storage into my new flat. Kelvin and the team were professional, knowledgable and great to work with, and the price was very fair. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them!

What an amazing experience! Moving is such a hassle and a stressful time. Found Allen and Young on an internet search and used the reviews (came highly recommended) in deciding to contact them for my mums move. Did not disappoint! Made the process so much easier taking into consideration that I was organising this from Kent and my mother lives in North London. Excellent communications, timely, helpful in all aspects and job completed with no issues exactly as required. Lovely friendly people came to do the removals! Highly recommend!!!

We used Allen and Young for a move from London to Peterborough. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They estimated that we’d need two Luton vans from looking at some videos I sent over and they were spot on. We did our own packing but requested a king size bed be dismantled and put back together again. When we got to the new property they’d already put it back together before I arrived. It was a stressful day but the guys were really calm and good humoured. The removal was stress free. Definitely use them.

Kelvin and his team moved me into the Barbican this week. They were great. They are polite, professional and are experts at dealing with the complexities of moving into a place like the Barbican where getting the furniture into the flat is not straightforward. I would recommend them.

I used Kelvin and his team to pack and move out of my flat into storage and they were brilliant. It was during the stamp duty saving madness and Kelvin organised everything with only 3 days notice and his team were great. He even drove across London to meet me to drop off my storage locker key which was really kind. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic service moving us from North London to Norfolk. Kelvin and team went above and beyond what could be reasonable expected and took great care and consideration in moving our furniture in to our old property with low ceilings and narrow corridors. I could not recommend Kelvin and his team highly enough. Kelvin surveyed my flat remotely and estimated the time required to pack and move everything perfectly, despite my thinking he would need a bigger team and more time. Kelvin Young and his employees were very courteous to us, and our furniture.
Every item removed from my old home was done so with great care - once the item is in the truck, another member of staff makes sure it is properly wrapped to prevent damage/scratches and is safely secured for the journey.
My desk which was previously damaged from an incident unrelated to Allen & Young was even fixed by one of their staff (Sam), free of charge.
I cannot recommend this removals company enough, you will not be disappointed.

I contacted Allen & Young as they'd been recommended to me and a friend had used their service.
I was letting my property and needed to move and store some larger and more valuable items of furniture.
Kelvin came round for a chat and was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the start - I liked him instantly.
I had doubts about how to get some of my larger pieces out of my (sometimes narrow) Victorian property but he knew exactly what to do.
He and his team arrived the next day as arranged and all my furniture and goods were neatly bubble wrapped and boxed.
I normally find the moving process quite stressful but the whole process was friendly , carefully done and efficient and put me at ease.
