He is well setup with a loading platform and has all the tricks for the awkward items. Civil fella, completely reliable, rates reasonable, he works hard!

I'm 72 years old and have moved house 10 times since getting married in 1971. The 10th move was last week from a 3 bedroom house with stairs to an 8th floor 2 bedroom apartment with no stairs. Health issues made it necessary to get rid of the stairs. After a disappointing response from a local removal firm who I used before, I contacted Farr Removed through the Bark website. I can honestly say this was the best house moving experience in 50 years. Thoroughly professional and courteous with attention to every detail and added to that, a wry East Belfast sense of humour. Used Ian and partner several weeks ago to clear bulky items from our roof space. My initial email was very quickly and professionally answered and included a competitive price. On the agreed date and time they were punctual. At the last moment I added other large items however this was no problem with a small adjustment in price. I cannot recommend the firm highly enough and they were a pleasure to have in the house.

We got our date for moving only a few days before completion. We had planned on using another removal company but they were booked up. Thankfully Farr Removed had a cancellation. I was a bit anxious with it all being very last minute and everything not going quite as planned however Ian and Thomas from Farr Removed were amazing. Ian answered a few questions I had the day before the move and welcomed any others to help alleviate any worries. They arrived slightly earlier than planned and were very realistic about timescales etc. They worked so so hard, barely took a rest at all! They were a great laugh too and made the day run smoothly! They dismantled our furniture and rebuilt on the other side. I’m delighted I ended up booking Farr Removed and would certainly use them again or recommend them! To top it all off they were very reasonable too! Bonus!!

I have hired Iain and Marty at 'Farr Removed' twice - once to move a whole clatter of furniture - a big bed, several wardrobes etc. and the second time to move a whole load of heavy boxes of old random junk and bits & pieces. Iain moved us from Moira all the way to Birmingham last year, taking the ferry over via Liverpool. He was extremely helpful, both in getting us packed up and putting our mind at ease during our big move. We'd looked at a lot of quotes from bigger companies but didn't get the feeling they were all that bothered about us or our stuff. Iain was the only one to come out and view our place before offering a quote which made us more relaxed that everything was going to fit in the van. He was incredibly considerate during the move, nothing had a single piece of damage. He was friendly and a great laugh. He made moving a distance a lot easier and we'll always appreciate it. Iain was incredibly helpful, polite and very organised. He came to our property to check what we had in advance of the move, on the move day he arrived on time, and had a very organised approach to packing up or belongings.

He helped take away all the stress of moving our belongs so we could focus on the actual move and getting keys sorted.

Our move day ran smoothly thanks to him. Honestly I'm not sure how we would have done it with him! He listened to everything we asked and made sure to take extra care of our of things like TVs and fragile furniture. He even took apart and rebuilt our beds and sofas!

He always had a smile and pleasant mannar which made the environment very relaxed.

Packing, moving and unpacking took about 5 hours for us. Absolute pleasure to work with, and absolutely glad we won't with Iain and Farr Removed.

My Farr Removed experience was outstanding.
