We used them for our recent move and they made it so easy. The quote process was quick, they dropped off boxes and packing stuff beforehand, and on the day they were amazing. We were worried our sofa wouldn't fit but they managed to get it through a window - impressive! The guys were all lovely and took great care of our things. Great service! We used them for our flat move as our friends recommended them to us and they did not promise too much! These guys are quick, organised and will neither damage your furniture nor your home. I actually kept the paint and colours out, so I could do some retouching of the walls after the move. Well ..we did not need that - even if we have a very narrow Victorian staircase. The whole move was done in no time with no stress! They might not be the cheapest, but I can tell you it pays off! Thanks again for the hussle free experience!

I was cycling down Lea Bridge Road the other day, but a Grays Storage & Removals van was blocking the entire cycling lane with their van & the entire pavement with the furniture they were carrying between the house & van. I made a polite comment that maybe they shouldn't be forcing cyclists to enter incoming traffic as I cycled passed. The Grays employee below immediately dropped the item he was carrying, raced out the van, chased after me, and violently assaulted me. He grabbed my collar, slammed my body against the wall, threw me to the ground, and destroyed both my bicycle and groceries. The assault only stopped when his two colleagues intervened, he likely would have inflicted further injury to me. Also - they had purposefully covered their licence plate with folded pieces of card to cover their obviously incredibly illegal parking. Stay away at all costs.

We moved from London to Brighton with Grays a few weeks ago and Gray's were brilliant! By far the best experience I have ever had moving house and I will definitely be using them again. They sent out a member of their team to come and give me a quote and we even requested an extra pickup at my partner's house, which they were able to accommodate at a really reasonable price. When they arrived, there was a team of 4 of them and they worked quickly and methodically to get everything packed up and insisted that I not need to lift anything (such a relief). They wrapped up our mattresses and TV screens to protect them which was great and the boys were all super polite and friendly. When they arrived in Brighton they put everything in the correct rooms (they even carried furniture all the way up to the loft room), without complaining. Overall, big shout out Robert for our stress free move and for searching the van a few days afterwards when we thought we'd left something in it (we hadn't ?). Thank you!

Just a really fantastic service from start to finish. It was great to meet face to face for the quote. Very suportive and responsive organising of logistics with total patience about the fact that plans can change. The team of packers and movers are exceptionally hard working, friendly and diligent. All in all, theyre excellent and very highly recommended.

From initial call to the last box delivered, the team were professional, kind and supportive. Moving is always stressful and costly but we are so glad that we invested in a professional removal service to make everything so much easier. Tricia was a great help arranging everything, Robert senior came to give a quote which meant we knew what we were dealing with and how much it would cost upfront. The day before the move we had Pat and Mark pack up, they packed a 2 bed flat in 5 hours, it would have taken me a full week. Even through the rain and 3 flights of Victorian stairs, the team were positive and reassured me through my anxiety. Robert, Robert junior, Paul and Pat were truly fantastic. They couldn’t have done enough to help, it felt like we were apart of an extended family and we were well looked after. On arrival, nothing was broken or damaged, they were careful not to damage the properties. Overall it was a good investment, it saved so much stress and arguments and it’s great to be in our new home before Christmas. Thank you team!

We have recently used Man & Van service from this company to move a 1-bedroom flat, and the crew did an excellent work! The whole process of loading, moving and unloading took less than two hours, the staff showed up on time and was very polite and professional, all our possessions were moved safely and no damage was caused to the flats, lifts or the communal areas. I would also like to point out a couple of nice extras included: provided quilts to wrap and protect furniture and the walls from the accidental damage, and also giving us a lift to the new address in a separate car. I would highly recommend them for any removal services!

These guys helped us move a 2 bed top-floor into a 3 bed house. They turned up 2 weeks before with all the boxing / packing bits. On the morning they were there early, extremely cheery, and in less than 2 hours we had said goodbye to them from our new place and were unboxing on our own. First time I have used a mover and couldn't recommend them more highly.

Hands down the best move I've ever had! Completely stress free! The team was considerate and careful ensuring all my belongings were handled with the utmost care. They even dissembled my sofa and assembled it again but didn't charge me extra. The team were extremely polite - asked me if they should go buy me a tea while I was waiting for them to move my stuff.. So kind!!! They arrived on time and were done in no time. We moved from London to Bournemouth recently and I was very impressed with the service from Grays. From enquiry, to quote, to packing, moving into storage and back out again, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Everyone was so helpful and everything was done so speedily. We used the packing service as well as the removals and we were amazed at how quickly and professionally everything was packed up. Likewise with the removals. We lived in a tenth floor flat and had some large, awkward sofas to move. Even these did not stump the team. Moving is stressful enough as it is, but Grays makes the experience a lot less stressful and a lot more pleasurable. Use Grays, you won't regret it.

Grays helped my partner and I move from 2 separate flats into one place, it went like a dream! I am having to repurpose my home following my husband's stroke so needed furniture in two rooms swapping over. A small job but undertaken efficiently and charmingly and it has made a massive difference to us. The team had to take a tv off the wall and they cleaned up the dust which came from that. They only charged for the time taken to do the job - other firms quoted for a minimum number of hours. Would recommend and use again should the need arise.

Grays were fantastic for our house move last month. We contacted them at short notice and they were still flexible for times and dates. They ended up moving our stuff over two days which made the whole process far less stressful and took great care with everything despite working quickly. I recently moved and Gray’s made it the most seamless moving day I’ve ever had. After previous bad experiences they were recommended to me by a friend so I booked with them. After having to move my moving date due to delayed completion the team were very reasonable and re-booked my move quickly without any trouble. Movers arrived prompt, introduced themselves, were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. It couldn’t have gone better, couldn’t recommend more.

Robert and his team provided a great service. They carefully packed all our belongings and labelled all boxes clearly. On the day of the removal, all went as planned and I felt very reassured by Robert’s guidance - they have clearly been in the business for a long time. Due to a delay in completion monies moving through the banking system, Robert and his team had to wait 4 hours before they could unload meaning that they did not finish until after 7pm. Despite this, they all remained cheerful and professional and were a pleasure to be around. I would definitely recommend Grays Storage and Removal and we will use them again if we move in the future.
