What can we say...... Damien and the 2 guys arrived early....bonus, they were very professional, polite and caring with our belongings, from our three bedroomed house on to the 3 vans, with lots of pots from the garden, not to mention a large shed and pots from front garden They worked like trogeons, having a tea or coffee on the hoff while they worked. Never experienced that before. They got to the bungalow before we did.!! Unloaded with absolutely pure calm, control and no hassle. They were recommended to us ...and I'm glad we were let down by a previous Removals firm. As these guys are something else.. Michael was a breathe of fresh air, singing and so happy. Unfortunately, didn't catch the name of the 3rd guy, but he had shorn sides to his hair and longer on top, they were certainly the best 'workmen' WE'VE EVER HAD. Highly Recommend these guys! Moved everything out so quickly & efficiently. They were all very professional, helpful and experienced in removals. Everything was taken out of the house, safely packed up, then taken into the new house with care and consideration. If you need removals then Phoenix Rising is the number one! Decently priced and they supplied boxed before hand (at a fee) which was convenient.
Phoenix Rising were one of six companies we asked to quote to undertake the removal from our very large house where we had lived for 25 years. Lee came to quote, and was very courteous and thorough. Of the other five quotes, two wanted three days and three wanted two days to undertake the removal. Phoenix Rising said that they would arrive at 0830hrs on the day (28th November 2022), and would work on through the evening if necessary to ensure that it was completed in one day. This also included the disassembly and reassembly of a particularly large wardrobe, and the delivery of a piano which we were gifting to a local school. The first of the six men on the job arrived at 0815hrs and by 0830hrs the others had all arrived and were already loading our possessions onto the first lorry. Several vehicles were used, and the whole team simply did not stop from the moment they arrived. At the other end, they were equally busy, and unloaded as required to all parts of the house, garage and other places. Inevitably when significant content is transported, unless the homeowner packs everything into steel reinforced boxes, there is bound to be the odd item come a cropper. Despite our extensive possessions, this barely happened. They did report to us that a dresser had been damaged, but we were able to confirm that it was already damaged prior to our move. Regardless we appreciated their honesty. Communications prior to and throughout the whole process were excellent, and we were delighted when everything was delivered the same day as they had promised. When you move house, you hope that you can hire a company that are careful, thorough, polite, do what they say they will, and all at a price that you consider acceptable. Phoenix Rising ticked all such boxes. We would most certainly recommend Ryan and his team.
Although we didn't experience their ability to do their job well as sadly our move didn't go ahead when agreed, their empathy at a very difficult time was non-existent and Ryan was hostile and lacking in customer service skills. When querying why we had to pay 80% of their quote when we cancelled 7 days prior to the move (READ THEIR T&Cs CAREFULLY!) we were told pay or we will take you to Court. How lovely! In your response I think you've missed the point. We did not once say we wouldn't pay just we were disappointed we were being asked to pay having been booked with you for under 48 hours and we thought there was a cooling off period. The point was that your immediate reply was... "payment is due by Friday your date you confirmed for, if not I will start court proceedings for recovery with any court fees added to your outstanding bill." Not great that you went straight to threats of court action! We weren't confrontational at all, just asked the question and that was your response. Very poor in my view.

Did their job quickly and cleanly and safely
I used Phoenix Rising for my move last week. Leading up to securing the date there were several changes. Ryan and the team were responsive at all times, from the moment we got the quote. The removal day itself couldn't have gone more smoothly, which was a relief given how stressful it is to actually complete on a house these days. The team were early, as was Lee on the two occasions he called round prior. The team were also an excellent, friendly bunch who worked quickly and amazed me at how they got it all done in such a short time. On arrival to the new house again very fast and efficient working, even building our bed and putting clothes in wardrobes. So for anyone looking to move soon, do yourself a favour and take the stress out of it by hiring this company. Excellent work lads and thanks again.
Pretty poor overall. Underestimated time required to pack and many items and furniture pieces ultimately damaged in packing and move. Ok service if you want a cheap price and don't have many pieces of expensive furniture.
Highly recommend this company. They did my flat to house move last year and I found them to be very professional, helpful and reliable. And a good price too. Have booked them again for another house move in May!
Could not be happier with my move! All the guys who helped me on the day we excellent. Friendly, courteous and efficient. Would recommend! And they were kid friendly!
