We can’t rate Simon highly enough … we’ve used him four times in as many years! Always efficient, relaxed, helpful and professional! Moving-house day is pretty stressful but Simon and his lads help ease the pressure and get the job done! And he’s affable with a good sense of humour too!

On the day nothing was too much hassle, working very hard on what was a very hot day, to ensure the safe transportation of our home and working out the best way for furniture to fit. ??

Simon and Rick were brilliant in moving my mother-in-law from Swansea to Herne Bay. It was a challenge (as the estate agent wrongly told the buyer she moved out the day before!) which meant the last hour was very rushed, but they were still so professional and careful with her furniture and belongings. At the other end, they were amazing in bringing up all contents to her second-floor flat at 11pm at night, after a really long and tiring journey. The whole time they were professional, considerate and had a smile on their faces. I can't recommend Alfa Movers enough.

Simon and his colleague worked continuously all day. They’re extremely professional and experts at what they do. This review is almost to the date two years late! We were recommended from a friend and they helped made the moving experience less stressful. As it was our first time moving (being previous first time buyers), Simon even gave us packaging materials that I didn’t realise I would need! Everyone worked hard to move us! And we were also very happy with the service given. One of the workers came straight in and turned on the integrated fridge freezer, something that with all of the chaos I would have forgotten to do ! They also continued to work later than they expected as they were committed to making sure all the heavy lifting was complete and in the correct rooms. All with smiles on their faces ! It’s all these extra little touches that made this service 5 star. We have also recommended Simon to a few of our friends and will continue to do so.

Simon and his team moved my house contents into storage and then into my new home. This included dismantling and reassembling a large wardrobe. He provided a very good service and was flexible with last minute changes.

Simon and his team worked hard in the summer temperatures to move us nearly 200 miles with not a lot of notice which was a lifesaver. Everything arrived safely and they were well worth their fee for the day and a half we used their services Truly fantastic

These guys are great. We’re able to move is when we couldn’t get anyone else on the first week of January. They knew exactly what they were doing and worked very hard and very quickly. Everything was moved, taken to storage about 25 minutes away all in one morning. I would highly recommend them. Great laugh too.

Simon and Marcus are a great team. Professional, friendly and caring. It was a rainy day. They put blankets on floors to keep carpets clean. It is a big truck that would fit everything in one go. Good practical knowledge on how to move things without wrecking the doors and walls. Punctual. Finished on time too. Put beds and appliances all connected in the new house. A few friendly chit chats to keep everyone stress free. All for a good price. Top class service. Highly recommended.

Best removal company in Herne bay

We used Alfa movers to move from herne bay up to Lincolnshire and found both Simon and Terry professional and would highly recommend them to move you! Arrived on time and loaded most of the van the day before the move so that they could complete the move on the next day unloaded in record time apart from my tool chest no damage found Forget the big guys use your local man and save a fortune in the process
