An excellent service. John and Alan were calm, polite and professional and made our house move infinitely easier. Unlike previous man/van type companies who have always tried to just do the job as quickly as possible (generally as they have bookings before and after) - the fact that this move was the only job booked in for them on this day meant they could be organised and thoughtful in the way they went about the job. Stairs were all protected on both properties. The flatscreen TV move was done smoothly. They used portable wardrobes to move clothes without them getting crushed or folded, and organised with me at the new site so I had time to build new clothes rails for the clothes to move to. where possible they avoided leaning anything against walls, to avoid marks. Great service I will be honest and say my initial thoughts when quoted for the job was "crikey that's expensive" - but, now that the job has been done - i can confirm it is not expensive for what you get. you ALWAYS have loads more to do than you think you do. Hiring AMC was money well spent and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a move. Thanks again to the guys on the day.

I'd leave a 0 if I could. Funded move due to my situation ended with me worse off due to the damage they caused and denied to the ends of the earth. Answer for everything. Sure I'll get feedback here on how I'm the devil and they are faultless. If your paying for your move GO ELSE WHERE. If your getting it funded..... try to consider getting a cheaper van and doing it urself. Trust me. This was not worth it.

Moved on 1st March. Everything went so smoothly. From the helpful staff who took the booking to the 2 young men who did the removal. There were so helpful. Nothing was a effort to them. No breakages and they place everything at the other end. Would certainly recommend there service.

Arrived on the day, staff member had an attitude. More money £380 was demanded on the day as we had "under estimated". Our possessions were held to ransom in the van until additional payment was processed. Boxes although clearly marked per room and Fragile, etc were damaged in transit and "dumped" in a few rooms, not where they should have gone. We then had to spend all weekend moving them ourselves. Put a claim in and had to jump through hoops, with photographs, forms, etc now not claiming any responsibility for damages. Avoid.

We are very very satisfied with these packers and movers. The delivery person was very polite and helpful. All the members of this company are well-behaved and responsible. Highly recommended.

A few examples of the kind of service levels you can expect: - Towels were wrapped around loo brushes when surely packing paper would have sufficed as a first layer at least - A silk wall hanging was taken down and wrapped round a greasy baking tray - 2 packing boxes soaked through with chemicals - Screws for the TV stand just left at the bottom of a cardboard box, one of which is now missing and therefore our TV is now precariously balanced And many many more odd decisions made which we're still finding as we open boxes six months on. They apologised on the phone after the move and made some empty promises about sourcing a screw for the TV and picking up some boxes which never materialised. Just go somewhere else, there's plenty of others to choose from...

After several quotes from removal companies I opted for AMC and have absolutely no regrets. Our belongings were removed with great care and precision. What I like is the fact that we are storing for 5 weeks and nothing will be removed from the crates until delivery to our new home. The guys were courteous and extremely professional. AMC removals are by far the most professional removal service we got in touch with. And it showed. They did the packing in one day and the move the next day. They had strict procedures as to how to do things, and had good gear to pack and place items in their lorry, which had lots of relevant equipment. Our things arrived to our new house without damage. They are not cheap, but quality can be pricey. Highly recommended.

AMC were so helpful and flexible with my move. I had to change the truck size at the last minute as I had underestimated the amount of stuff we had and they were no bother. Our driver John couldn’t have been better. Nothing was a bother and everything was properly wrapped up and tied in. He even managed to get a huge van up our back lane which made everything much easier. Spot on.

From booking the removal to having our possessions loaded in to storage crates the service we received was flawless. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. This is our second time using AMC and would recommend to anyone, you won’t regret it.

Went for the dismantling service and they put our wardrobes back together so badly they're now chipped,scratched, warped and hard to use. Over a month later we're still waiting for them to compensate like for like cost, or come back to make good. Our 750 quid move now costing more like 1200 as it looks like we'll just have to replace them ourselves.

The organisation and office are a riot!! They were due to deliver all our stuff they had in storage today and go to our unit to get the other stuff but at the last minute .. literally 8am on the day… they tell me we can’t go to the unit .. !!! Used them twice now . Once for myself and would definitely recommend them moved my entire house within four hours lovely guys . Then got them to move my elderly parents at short notice they squeezed us and and were very good on the day

AMC removals moved me on Monday from my oldHouse to my new house in Dunfermline and the guys were amazing from start to finish. Finally getting round to writing this. I used AMC for a house removal, dividing my furniture into two different storages and then for the part that they had stored for removal into a new flat. Also during the storage they arranged for my Grand Piano to be taken out for removal to London.I didn’t see this as an easy process but AMC were excellent throughout - the people on the phone were quick to sort out questions and it was clear all along how much everything would be.The actual removals were the best I have had - I have moved 5 times in 10 years - no nonsense no scuffs and when a couch wouldn’t fit through the door they didn’t just force it they explained the options before doing anything rash. No hesitation in using AMC again but frankly hope I don’t need to!!
