I am utterly disgusted and devastated with the way my life’s possessions have been stored and returned mouldy, damaged or not at all. I have paid a lot of money & the way in which Joe has gone about the situation is even worse, he’s meant to be running a business but clearly unable to do so. He should be replacing the items and paying me compensation, instead he replaced 4 items but nothing else & thinks ignoring me is okay! Trying to put mouldy furniture in my house, even covered up that he’d damaged my son’s mattress by putting a cover over it when it’s ripped and mouldy, my son has asthma, this is not acceptable. My sofa was returned with stains on it and smelling like cannabis, lamps returned with no lampshades, boxes damp and mouldy contents, clothes ruined and many items not returned. My son’s birth certificate is missing, his first Mother’s Day card had black mould on it, designer bags ruined. I trusted this man, I never had access to where my items were stored and paid a lot of money for safe keeping of it all but that was not the case. It’s not hard to do the right thing, I understand things happen but as a business he should be claiming on his insurance and doing the right thing. DONT TRUST THIS MAN - AVOID! IF YPU HAVE STUFF STORED WITH HIM GET IT OUT IMMEDIATELY. The last thing I wanted was a court case but he’s left me with no option.

Joe and his team were totally wonderful, they were polite and so helpful. They got the job done carefully and quickly and even helped to put up our heavy bed in the new house. They had special covers for sofas and tvs and Joe answered all my annoying questions leading up to the move day. Nothing was too much trouble. Well, what can I say, good service, great, professional, and personable team who do everything they can to make sure the stresses of house moving have disappeared. Whenever I even attempted to lift a finger to help them with the process, these guys would take the box out of my hands and make sure I don't need to worry. We had arranged for the storage location we had rented to stay open slightly longer (midday shut down) so we could make sure the team didn't have to traverse stairs to get to our storage unit on the first floor, and instead utilise the lift. Unfortunately, we had, safe to say, a lot of things to move and it took slightly longer than expected to move our stuff, this concerned us as we didn't deem it fair to make them traverse stairs when they get to the storage facility because we were under time constraints to keep the lift open, to the point where we decided to tell them to leave the spare bits which needed moving and we'll do it ourselves at a later date. There response was "Don't worry about the stairs, we're here to do a good job for you, now we'll crack on with dismantling the wardrobe!" This showed their level of Professionalism to say the least, doing everything in their power to make sure the moving experience is seamless. Thank you to Joe and Joel for the fantastic job you did. I don't want to move house again, but if I was, I would 110% use this company again. P.S. if you want your items stored safely, securely without risk of breakages, these guys pack their van so safely, like a perfect game of house moving tetris!

We found out about Amor Removals by chance; a referral by someone who used to know Joe; and how lucky were we! Amor Removals are not the large business with a fleet of trucks and many staff but a small and efficient outfit understanding the needs very quickly and efficiently and Joe and his team; we remember Chris very well as he loved our dogs the first moment he saw them; went about matters in a way very much suited to our needs. From the first moment we spoke on the phone, the visits to discuss, the quote, agreeing the dates and the actual move; a week before Christmas 2016; Joe was as accommodating as you want a removal company to be. We pre-packed quite a bit but left certain parts to the experts and on the day all went swimmingly - one person sorting our vast book collection and another - Joe his Mum, everything which was hanging on the wall. Meanwhile Joe and Chris got to grips with the heavy stuff of which there was lots. I can go on for much longer, however, those reading a review want to know the outcome. Well the move went as planned, not much went wrong and what went wrong was resolved as you would expect.
