A truly great service. James and the team were amazing in the building up to our move and on the house move day. Great care was taken with our belongings and nothing was too much of an effort. They arrived on time and worked hard to optimise the space to get all of our things on board. His calculations for the space required were spot on and a very reasonable price to when compared to some of his competitors. The team were all a credit to you too and clear that you all have a great working relationship. I've taken a few days to think about how to review Big Tuna Removals, who moved us this weekend. Quite honestly I can't say enough good things about this company. From initial contact to waving them off on Saturday evening, our experience with them has been stress free and effortless. Big Tuna were recommended to us by a friend, who was 100% happy with their experience. Our move was arranged within 10 days of our moving date and Big Tuna went out of their way to accommodate us around their prior commitments, and our short time frame. A video walk through our house gave foundation for our quote. The quote was extremely reasonable and they reassured us that everything would be okay, they would handle everything, and they did! With limited parking at our old house (on a lane) they somehow managed to park two trucks so they didn't interfere with traffic, handled stairs to the property, negotiated small spaces in a small house, and worked effortlessly as a team, whilst smiling, reassuring me and genuinely enjoying their job. At the other end they parked, off loaded (up stairs again!) and worked until quite late in the day without a single complaint. It was such a hot day and they worked so hard! lf you want a completely stress free, professional, moving experience at a very reasonable price please do yourself the biggest favour you can and book Big Tuna.

Couldn't recommend Big Tuna Removals company in Plymouth enough! James and his team were friendly and professional throughout the whole house moving process. We opted for the packing service in addition to moving and I still can't get over how efficient they were at packing up our 3 bedroom house. On the day of the move, the team were so careful with all of our belongings and loaded/unloaded the vans so efficiently and checked in with us all the time to make sure the boxes were placed in the right rooms. Great price and a great service!

After being let down by our planned removals company just days before our move, we discovered Big Tuna Removals Plymouth on Facebook through a funny down to earth promotional video. Not only did their prices significantly undercut other companies, but James, the Director, responded to our messages late on a Saturday evening. By Sunday, he had provided a quote and delivered packaging materials to my Door! On the Wednesday, Mark and his uniformed team did an exceptional job. Clearing our top-floor flat in just a few hours - despite over six flights of narrow stairs and a 24°C heatwave - Thankfully, our new home was a bungalow. James remained available by phone throughout the day and went above and beyond to address any issues. We highly recommend these guys for any Plymouth Removals. Would give 10/10 stars if possible!

They worked very hard moving my things down two fights of stairs taking care to cover, and wrap objects that needed protection. Plymouth City is so lucky to have Big Tuna Removals! If you want any removals or house clearance done, especially at short notice and are lucky enough like I was, then they are for you. It's worth waiting if you have to because James and his team were awesome. I got let down by another company earlier in the day and yet at 6.40pm, I contacted Big Tuna Removals who responded immediately and were able to turn up the next morning - where can you get that these days? They were polite, careful and totally professional in everything they did, even clearing up after themselves; they wore smart T-Shirts advertising their business and still looked smart having removed everything from the 13th floor of a high rise block of flats. Cannot recommend James and ‘Big Tuna Moving Company’ highly enough. We were moving from Essex back down to Devon. Our new home is in a particularly remote location, down very narrow single lanes and over bridges and rural tracks. James was methodical with his planning, driving the rural route himself and preparing for mud, ice and planning a relay system from a larger van into a smaller Sprinter. The team were fantastic, very polite, personable, professional and could not have been more helpful. Choosing Big Tuna removals was a great choice for removals in Modbury. Dave (can't remember his name) the main guy came and helped us move yesterday. He has all the gear to make sure your furniture is protected and secure whilst moving. everything strapped safely in van and even supplies covers for mattresses and covers for furniture to stop it getting damaged in transit and sack trucks to help move stuff from van to property. Amazing value of service cost and ever so Friendly and helpful with great communication before and during moving day. would 110% recommend for any time you need to shift stuff. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From start to finish, these guys were amazing! Incredibly professional when they moved us from the top of Scotland down to Plymouth! These guys are amazing. I had a sofa bed that was too big to fit through the door but these men dismantled the sofa in order to make me a happy customer. They work so hard. Most other companies would have left it on my door step. And their prices are great too. I wouldn’t use another company. Especially after they did everything in their power to get that sofa in my house! They’ve also helped me to move house a couple years ago and they was absolutely fantastic. 5 stars from me. We hired these guys when we moved house (August 2022) after doing it ourselves the last time we moved we knew we needed help! They moved everything for us from our two bed terrace in a couple hours. We hired for the day due to the ways of chains when moving house which put our mind at ease knowing it would all get placed into the new house. We also hired them for a move of an upright piano 2-3 person job. It wasn’t an easy task but they took the job on and succeeded in speedy time too. Highly recommended!
