Chas and his team helped us with our house move last week and we found the Coppards team to be exceptional, right from the initial quotation (which we found to be very competitive and thorough compared to 5 other firms) through to the part load and the moving day, the team were communicative, empathetic and helpful. They worked quickly and hardly stopped so by 4.30pm on the day we moved we had everything in and in the right place! Thank you Chas and the team - we couldn't have done it without you!

Fantastic company to use for moving home. I shopped about but Coppards were the most competitive. We had a team of 4-7 men that moved us from our house to a bungalow end of April. There was 4 guys to begin with and later 7 so it was really stress free even when we didn’t get our keys until mid afternoon. Highly recommend Coppards.

I am giving 1 star out of 5 not because the actual physical moving team were bad, they did a good job but the administrative team and office team once they processed you and got the payment, that is it. The admin team member that communicated with us on the day of move and completion was extremely rude and unprofessional, even though the guidance they gave us on quotation was that if we were late for extend an amount of time for whatever reason they would charge overtime but will wait and finish the job. Now due to a late completion across the chain linked properties and a solicitor going awol for a couple hours that caused/made the situation worse, which was out of our control, we didn't complete until around 3pm and got the keys about an hour later. When coppards office called and we were discussing the situation with the estate agent and their office over the phone, the admin staff was rude, not polite, threatening tell his team to unload our belongings on to the road and pavement or they would take it to storage they provided somewhere which was never an option they explained prior, the person dealing with us was just so impolite and actual hung up on us, inconsiderate given the situation at hand and I had to call back a couple of time to get through to that person again. All in all it was very stressful on the day, for a service that cost us close to £1000 for a days move, it is shocking how the admin team behaved, I repeat that the removal men were good and completed the job and even waited till the last minute before they called their office. I can’t recommend this kind of service e to anyone. Reply to response: I appreciate this is the situation that we all found ourselves in that day and it was unexpected, but that does not justify your staff member hanging up on me and saying that he can instruct the movers to dump my property on the pavement while we were talking and trying to get a some clarity on things. No one expects the hardworking teams like the guys you had helping to work way longer than they need to or than you agreed with them but no one on your team explained to me on the onset what the options would be once waiting had elapsed and once overtime would no longer be feasible due to delays, just spring in on me that my belongs were to be held somewhere or dumped on the street, that is an important key point that should have been made very clear in the verbal explanation and pitch pre the contract. And you did not call me 4 times with missed call as I have my phone logs and bills to clarify that, I got 2 missed calls within the 30 minute period, and I replied to one and tried following up on the other call but was on the call with solicitors as you advised me to continue doing before I called the office back. I appreciate the effort the guys put in that patience that was allowed around such a stressing time window but that still does not justify the rude hanging up of the phone on a customer that did nothing wrong or broke the contract, nor agitating thing by saying implying that our belonging could be left on the pavement if we want.

Absolutely fabulous service from Coppards. We had 2 quotes for our move - Coppards were pleasantly competitively priced with a can do attitude - their teams led by Chaz and Kev made the move as pleasant as possible for what is a relatively stressful event. I had an accident and was in hospital during the move so the team stepped up and helped my wife and 2 sons immeasurably. Cannot recommend them more highly - thank you!

Very happy with the service from Coppards. Right from the initial booking when details were confirmed, including support from the admin team who were very responsive to emails which really puts you at ease during a stressful time. The chaps packing up were all really nice, did a great job and were all incredibly hard working. The team moving me into my new property at a later date were also fantastic. Really personable and went over and above to help me when presented with an issue of a wardrobe not fitting in my new bedroom. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Thank you.

An excellent all round service from start to finish. John,Mark and Mason couldn't do enough for us. Happy pleasant guys that gave us a thoroughly professional service. I was against using movers as thought I could do it myself but my partner insisted. Was so so pleased she persuaded me. The guys packed efficiently and carefully and made a stressful day much easier. One thing I would say is it would be good to have a bit more clarity on what time constitutes too late to get keys. We ended up waiting around most of the day to get the keys which is obviously not Coppards fault but we did pay the "late" fee up front. I didnt book Coppards directly though so that may have been in the comms with her. However even with that we were chuffed with the service, thank you!

After our experience we would never recommend Coppards, we felt fooled into thinking this is a pleasant family run company. The run up to the move was ok but on the day we found them to be at best abrasive and at worst abusive. There was little respect and the staff who came to the house and in the office lacked any sensitivity. They managed to make an already stressful day even worse. Nothing was put down on the carpet on a rainy day and it was nearly ruined. An antique table was scratched. Whilst waiting for the final completion I had a phone call from the manager whose attitude instantly changed when he realised there had been a slight delay, which was totally out of my hands. He then went on to verbally abuse me which I found distressing and inexplicable. The job did get done but we were made to feel that we were an inconvenience and we couldn't wait to see them go.

We moved 5bweeks ago after 25 years in our house. Before we booked we had reservations about Copards but asked the owner of our estate agent, 30 years in the business. He said he had used them twice for his personal moves and would again. That was good enough for us. Their price was by far the most competitive. They were great on the day. No complaints, not even about moving all my timber and workbench. Polite, professional, the team leader led well and so the 5 guys worked efficiently. Highly recommend them.

We recently used Coppards to move house and they were exceptional. Their quote was very competitive and initially I had reservations as to whether I shouldn’t have gone for the cheapest quote, but they didn’t disappoint. They were very experienced, always courteous on the end of the phone and on the day the team were very professional and nothing was too much trouble! They were swift and highly competent from start to finish. They were cheerful, polite and considerate from start to finish despite sweltering heatwave. Nothing was too much trouble. We just wanted to write to thank Simon and Ethan for moving our furniture into storage last Friday. They arrived promptly at 0830, wrapped our furniture beautifully, delivered and unloaded to the storage company. Nothing was too much trouble. A totally stress free morning. Was recommended Coppards after my parents used them for their move during Covid as I was heavily pregnant and unable to do much, the team honestly made our whole move so smooth with no stress at all. Everything we owned was in perfect condition after travel and our furniture was put back together for us exactly where we wanted it too. Paul and his team were highly professional and did not hang about in getting our house packed up ready for our move. His team were tidy , professional and very polite and I would recommend them to anyone looking to move. The moving process can be stressful enough and Coppard's were brilliant. In a blink of an eye we were in our dream home beds were assembled and sofas in place the boxes that were labelled were in the correct rooms keep up the good work!

Items scuffed, damaged and “missing” from storage. The compensation is not satisfactory and owners don’t care for after service. Even looked like our belongs were stored in a muddy container. Outstanding service. Honestly cannot recommend Coppards enough. From the initial quote to the final box being put down, the service was great. I'm sorry I forgot the teams names but Simon and Co were brilliant. Efficient and made sure they were removing the right items and made sure we were happy with where everything went. Thanks again
