Couldn’t recommend Jonesmoves highly enough. There were 2 of them (Liam and Casey) and they were polite, fast, worked really hard and were really clear that I didn’t need to help at all if I didn’t want to - so takes all of the stress away. They were so careful with all of my belongings - they shrink wrapped a large mirror I had run out of bubble wrap for and they protected my mattress fully. Really professional. They were also so friendly which puts you at ease. I had a lot of stairs in the second place and they didn’t make me feel bad or awkward about it which I have had before! They also have a customer contact manager (Rosie) who is super responsive and really kind. The fixed rate meant that I wasn’t remotely concerned about how long things took but it didn’t matter anyway because they were so efficient! I had other quotes that were around £50 cheaper but those other companies had quoted me for nowhere near enough time so it would have increased loads on the day, and so at the end of it all these guys worked out the cheapest anyway. Also love that it’s a family business. Highly recommend :)

We've chosen to go with Jones Moves for a fairly last minute move. Their coordinator Rosie was extremely helpful and helped us get a quote (which was very reasonable) and everything booked super quickly. As a family business they also have a very personal service and super helpful communication which takes a lot of anxiety out of a very stressful move. On the moving day, Liam and Casey did an amazing job. They are very lovely to have around, very efficient and quick - even when navigating small and narrow spaces and entrances. In the end, the whole move was done within the morning! I'd definitely choose them again should I have to move again and would definitely recommend everyone to have a slightly less stressful move - it's worth it for sure!

My partner and I have moved twice with Jones Moves. The second time there was no doubt we'd return to them, given how great the first time was. Rosie was really communicative and made the booking process so easy. She asked us all the right questions to ensure everything was thought of and covered. Liam and Casey arrived perfectly on time (actually a few minutes early!) and carried out the move with speed an precision. Nothing was too big or too little of a job and they really took care of our belongings. The cost was fair and affordable. Worth every penny. I couldn't praise the whole process and company enough.

I imagine they can do good removals, but my time and money was wasted by these guys - they turned up twice for a loft removal without the right kit (no ladder first time, no floor covers/sheeting second time, in spite of being asked to bring them). They were very defensive when asked why they had come unprepared again, and we were not pleased by their lack of basic organisation, and told them so, and offered to find some sheets of our own. They just walked off the job and then told their manager that we were rude and shouted at them - a lie! They were unprepared, twice, clearly couldn't be bothered to do the job on a Saturday. They kept 50% of the deposit and cost us a babysitter twice. We do not recommend.

They did a full pack and move for us from a 5 bed house over a weekend. Great service and communication, very attentive to getting it right. They worked so hard over the weekend, nothing was too much even when we needed to move a few bits of furniture at the destination. Everything arrived safely and no damage at all. I would use them again without hesitation.

These guys were great! They turned up early and got everything out of our flat quickly and without fuss (despite the 3 flights of stairs). They were happy to put our things anywhere we needed and made sure everything was in order before they left. What an experience! I enjoyed every moment of doing nothing! I was really worried as I had had quite a few bad experiences in the past. I was just preparing myself for another torture where I end up doing my own move. Well not with these guys! They arrived 10 minutes before their 1 hour window and while I was getting rid of my last bits of trash they almost finished bringing down everything. I couldn't believe my eyes. Same at my new place, they brought their own runners to cover the carpet and were so careful to stay on them. Also, lovely customer service, Rosie is very helpful and she responds quickly. I was moving out of London to Oxford on Saturday and these guys were amazing. Throughout the whole process they were communicative and answered any questions I had. It's the second time we've used this service. I called them again because they did such an extraordinary job the first time. This time we got the packing and moving service, a move of about 120 miles. We got the same two movers as the first time, and they are super professional and nice. They came the day before the move to pack everything. They include all of the packing materials and honestly we didn't have to lift a finger, which is incredible given how stressful moves are. Also Rosie deserves commendation. I think anyone else would've been driven insane by how many questions I sent them by email when we were planning the move. We were ambivalent between a few different options in separate towns, so I wrote a few times to ask for multiple budgets to help us plan better. She was always super nice! I can't recommend them enough! I feel like their prices are a really good value given the service they offer. I don't think I could ever go back to just a man and van service. If only I'm a bit sad that we probably won't be able to call them next time we need to move now that we've moved so far from London.

We used Jones Moves to move from a 3rd floor flat with no lift to a 2nd floor flat with no lift. As I'm almost 8 months pregnant it was important we had a stress free moving experience and that's exactly what we got! The team arrived at 8.45am and were done and dusted by 11.20am....amazing considering how much stuff we had and all those stairs! The men were friendly, hard working and efficient. They even took our old sofa and boxes to the dump for us. We would definitely use this company again and I recommend to everyone. If you're thinking about using them for your move, do it!!
