We booked Kwikshift, easy to contact and get a competitive quotation. We had movers Colin and Charlie, who were really lovely and professional. All of our luggage was transport with efficiency and on time, and this was one of the best prices that we got after looking for several quotations across the market in Liverpool. During the whole process, the whole process, they kept us up-to-date, and they were also flexible. Overall, fantastic experience and would recommend.

Do not use this removals company! Having used them previously they were great in terms of refunding back the money for damaged drawers. However the second time, my mirror was then cracked. ‘As per Kwikshift policy’ you need to notify them of any damages within 7 days. We sent these over on the 6th day after moving in and have been denied a refund for the damaged mirror and the damaged coffee table. I feel the customer service has been poor during this time as has not helped with a stressful move. Pre this issue I would have highly reccomend this removals company however going forward I sadly will not be. Honestly not happy with this service that we have received. £90 refund doesn’t seem like a lot of money but when you’ve just moved in this can be the difference for something else when moving into a new home.

Recently used these guys for my move, they were the most expensive out of the 3 quotes i received, and were not my first choice due to just wanting a cheap move. But, i am really glad they ended up doing the move for us, there was a team of 4 and they did not stop from when they arrived at 8am. Nothing was too much hassle and everything was completed professionally and with care and taking the dismantle / rebuild service is the best thing we done. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thanks very much!

I didn't have to lift a finger and our movers Mark and Sean were really careful with all our things, even left some of their moving blankets behind to protect the furniture. Absolute legends, they were the only company accepting our last minute booking, had the most competitive quote and to top it up the guys turned up nice an early, extremely helpful and careful. I couldn't praise any higher the service provided. Will be recommending to anyone

We needed a removal company to deal with a large removal from Ormskirk to our new home 200 miles away . I researched companies and had five quotes . Kwik Shift were the first company to come out . The first thing they said was " Big van then!!" We explained that the rural area we were moving to had access issues as we were moving to a very narrow lane . Their response was that this wasn't a problem as they would use a smaller vehicle to unload to . We explained that the nearest place they could do this was only accessible by going under a bridge , they checked the height and said again that this wasn't a problem . When the estimator has gone we discussed between ourselves that this seemed like a really good company but probably it would be too expensive. We then had four other quotes from well know companies . Each one of them has attitude of " hmmm it's a lot of stuff to take ...." . When all the quotes came through Kwik shift was actually the cheapest . My cheapest quote was £2785 from Kwikshift my most expensive was from a company on Skelmersdale who wanted £5100 !! The others were somewhere in between . Paired with the fact that they didn't want a deposit up front, just payment on the day and that £50,000 worth of insurance was covered - unlike the others who wanted 50% deposit plus extra for insurance there was no question that we were going to choose Kwik Shift. The other companies all contacted me to chase up their quotes but I told them that I had chosen Kwikshift because of their price , their terms and their professionalism. One of the companies told me in a very condescending manner that cheapest wasn't always best and I felt annoyed justifying my decision and saying that I had researched the company and was happy with them! Even if Kwikshift hadn't been the cheapest we would have gone with them . We knew instantly that we could leave this on their hands. Yesterday in the worst weather ever Kwikshift came to remove our belongings and they were delivered early this morning to our new home in South West Wales . The removal was conducted in a friendly , professional way in terrible weather conditions . I'm terrible with names so can't thank the three lads that did our removal personally but I hope the little something we gave them will convey our gratitude for making this final hurdle of a big house move run so smoothly !! The whole experience from start to finish has been easy . Very nice people to deal with

My daughter recently moved house and hired Kwikshift. I was a bit sceptical at first and thought we'd be better off hiring a van and doing it ourselves. But Jordan and Chris did a magnificent job transporting furniture and boxes from a flat and a house to the new house - all in the time it would have taken us to think about it. Very professional! Very efficient! I would definitely use this company again.

I was so impressed by the service I receive from the Kickshift employees. The two young men were polite, respectful and pleasant. They even made suggestions on a more suitable way to arrange the bedroom furniture in my new, much smaller accommodation. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a positive experience with KwikShift. A minor improvement could be done on communication (initial email communication went very smoothly but some emails after that went unanswered and I had to chase via phone). But overall very happy with the service, the chaps on the day were punctual, they wrapped the appliances for added protection, they were very gentle with the moving and also very friendly. Quality and affordable service. I'd use them again.

Well where do I begin. Firstly I really did my research when choosing removal company and for me cheapest was the highest priority which Kwikshift Removals were out of many. But don’t let that discredit the quality of the service because the team were polite, professional, clean and very helpful. As well as this a personal matter occurred in which I needed to change my removal date on a very short notice and most companies would still charge you for this as it was my fault technically. However the management were really understanding and went out of their way to help me and accommodate. I couldn’t be more grateful tbh and I am truly thankful for everyone for going above and beyond really. Its my first review on here but I just had to applaud the company.

Fabulous service, can't recommend Kwikshift Removals highly enough. The guys were friendly, but professional and respectful throughout our move from Wirral to Cheshire. They picked up the majority of items the day before the move, just leaving us with the essentials (bed, sofa, kettle etc) which they picked up on the morning of the move. They were quick and efficient, but careful with all our items and nothing was too much trouble. They even asked if we wanted any of the furniture moving around again before they left. They also price-matched the cost of the move against a local competitor, so it was excellent value too. Would definitely use them again in future.

We moved home in the second week of November 2022. The move with Kwikshift was smooth regarding the initial contact, video call to provide quotation, packing, moving where they incorporated us for two days due to chain issues etc. But what made this a terrible experience for us is the fact that the young men who came to pack our home prior to moving day stole from us. It was £50, insignificant compared to the 2.8K we paid for packing and moving, but the fact that these men walked into our homes and stole from us when they had full access to our home is appalling. We only got to know because we never have cash at home, we only had it to pay the cleaner that week who cancelled due to a personal reason. Said money was kept half sticking out of under a small wicker basket that we have on the breakfast counter. This is the only place we leave cash in the rare event of needing a cash payment. Due to the hectic nature of house move, working full time and a toddler, both my husband and I forgot that we had left it there until the house was fully packed and the men had left. We decided to wait until we unpacked at the new home to ask about it as we did not want to throw allegations unnecessarily. Upon unpacking we found that the money was not there in the box with the said wicker basket and its contents. It was not found in any of the boxes packed from that room which only meant that whoever found it took it. Upon contacting Kwikshift they refused to be of any help and suggested that we contact the police. We did lodge a complaint and got an email asking us for proof. We have proof for withdrawing money and texts from the cleaner that she is cancelling, but not of the actual theft as we don’t have CCTV indoors. We have to add that we still have unpacked boxes, so I am not sure what else is missing. You might want to blame us for leaving cash out, but these things can happen when you are packing a 4 bedroom house. I would definitely not recommend them to anybody as I don't think they are trustworthy.
