Read morePurchased a brand new Hobby Optima De Lux at a cost of £82,000.00 the van I purchased I was told there was a problem with it however they said they had another brand new one in Chesterfield I said ok so long as it’s the same I’d be happy, I picked the motorhome up in November 2023 and drove it 20 miles to my home were its beem ever since it all looked ok, I cleaned it a few times not noticing anything until a family member pointed out some fine scratches to which i was mortified, i thought id try and get the scratxhes out with sine t cut, then rhoughy better of it as it was btand new, i called the office in sheffield only to be told ibmust have done it, or it was were it was parked or family pets had done it, i told them im 40 yards from any road its in a sequre gated compound, and my dogs are around 9 inches tall and the sctaches are bonnet hight, i told him i can prove to him its not been movee sijce the day i brought it home via the extra expemsive tracker they had installed for me, i will have to go to the official UK Hobby and complain to them, they also said that they lost their Hobby dealership i wonder how ? You will see by the photos the scraches are hard to see however they are there and the point is its never been used or driven other than picking it up, after sales support is none existant dont buy from tgis company

Read moreBought a Fiat Fiorino brand new off these cowboys back in November 2023, started to fault in december and we left it back with the dealership to fix multiple faults. Let’s pick one out, a loud buzzing behind the dash board which they said was an indicator stalk and replaced. 4 weeks later collected van and all faults still present. Complained to head office and told them i want to reject the van. Dealership phoned me and said will you give us another chance to fix to which i told them yes bit not waiving my rights to rejection. Vehicle dropped back off and now been with them for weeks. Still no rejection processed!! Being fobbed off and messed around and it’s getting frustrated. Meeting with solicitor tomorrow to escalate. DONT BUY OFF THESE!!!! Avoid at all costs their customer service afterwards is shocking.

From the outset Polly and the team were friendly and helpful I had a recall on my 12 month old Fiat Ducato camper, unknown to me, which they sorted promptly and updated the system accordingly I'd discovered a minor oil leak previously and needed an oil/filter change at the same time preferring to change the oil yearly and not biannually as per the service schedule. My work was completed in one day (27th December 2023) after booking it in just over a week before. Thanks to Polly and some diary juggling we had the work done at short notice prior to touring overseas which was great? They have a 'loan van' available to book out subject to a minimal daily insurance charge which we found useful Be advised you will pay main dealer prices but rest assured the job will be done properly and service book stamped correctly which gives peace of mind. Our camper ownership will be long so our initial visit to Vanworld ultimately will lead to repeat servicing custom...
Read moreRust less than 6 months and part failure after 24 months *BEWARE NO WARRANTY* I bought a brand new Fiat talento sportivo in September 2021 and was very happy with the van and sales team. A little after 6 Months I noticed heavy corrosion on the spare wheel carrier, No problem I thought because it's well within the warranty. Notified the dealer who said that repair or replacement has to be authorised by Fiat. After 6 MONTHS they admitted fault but direct quote from Fiat "I contacted the part department regarding the part number in question. Unfortunately, they informed me that the part is currently unavailable and not in stock. Moreover, they do not have an estimated date for its availability as the supplier has not provided any information on its availability." 18 months from reporting the rust no new part or repair. On Sunday 8th October 2023 with 1 year of warranty left the Diesel cooler inlet pipe sheared off while I was in the lake district and had 10 hours of tow trucks to take me home. Van world refused to cover the cost to collect the van for repair as it wasn't serviced with them, so dropped it off at my expense. They called me after to try and charge £120 for diagnostics prior to their so called master mechanic investigating the damage. Result from the investigation was damage, not part failure. Before dropping it off I had an independant mechanic check it and a 3rd party NDT technician investigate who said there was no damage to the vehicle and that metal fatigue caused the failure most likely through vibration. I informed the dealer of this and was told "You have your opinion, we have ours! £550 for repair" I was furious, had the van collected and repaired by a trustworthy mechanic for £200 brand new part fitted. If you buy a van from them paint the spare wheel carrier from new and prey you don't need the warranty because it does not exist. Will never use Vanworld again or recommend.

Read morePurchased a brand new van on 24 of May after using the van for 2 months last week on 21st of July my BRAND NEW VAN had started to overheat and was recovered to local dealership. No communication or support from stone acre motor group, no cover fleet, I had lost already three days of my work and probably will loose a lot more even if at the time of the sale I was secured that I will have nothing to worry about in case of the broke down I will have the cover fleet all support needed etc.. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.. still waiting for updates.

Fiat Warranty Is Not Worth the Paper It's Written On…..The engine on our 14month old van has detonated. At first Stoneacre had no interest in having the vehicle recovered to them and they’ve since made every effort to wriggle out of our warranty claim. They’re slippery too, trying to catch you off guard, and will never commit to anything in writing.
