Moving house was a really stressful experience for me. The only part that went smoothly was the removals by Blue Sky. The guys turned up on time, were polite and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them (even moving my huge palm tree in a pot without issue). They took extremly good care with all my boxes, furniture and possessions. But special mention must go to Laura in the office, whose calm, re-assuring and professional manner took Blue Sky's customer service to the next level. Even when my completion date moved three times she handled it all as if I was the only customer they had.Highly recommended.

Superb experience - Communication was excellent and very efficient. Laura kept me up to date with everything. On the day before the move Billi and his colleague packed everything carefully. The day of the move everything was moved without fuss and large items dismantled and reassembled at the new house. I would thoroughly recommend Blue Sky Relocation as they are extremely reliable, so quick to respond and they are completely honest about the price from the very beginning. They provided me with a fixed price with no hidden charges on it unlike all of the other removal quotes I received (their prices would definitely increase on the day of the move) so I really appreciated this transparency. The removal men arrived on time, they were polite, friendly, patient and did an amazing job as they didn't damage a single thing which is very hard to do. They were so efficient when quoting and with the move itself that I would 100% use them again and recommend to all of my friends and family as they are simply the best removal company around!

The booking and setup of my move was perfect. I managed to get my chosen day at somewhat short notice and booked at a reasonable price, even with last minute changes to the number of people needed. Working with Laura was wonderful! Unfortunately , although on the day my flat was packed up in record time and unpacked at the house quickly, the movers were late arriving and also did not use sheets to protect the carpets as promised. I had to do extra cleaning both at the old flat and the new house, and there is now also a large stain on my mattress that I cannot get off as a mattress cover was not used. Boxes marked as fragile were also stacked underneath boxes marked as heavy and although thankfully nothing was permanently damaged I expected better from a firm that advertises a 'white glove service'.

For me this is the service I was glad I chose. I lived in a large 5 bedroom house with more than 3000 sq ft of space so you can imagine the task. Blue Sky came in and blitzed the whole house in two days. The team are friendly and helpful and they understand this is a stressful time. All I had to do was sit back and go about my day as if it was a normal day and by the end of the day everything was dismantled, securely packed and delivered in 7 large vehicles without a single issue. If the team were uncertain about items they always asked me, knew the options so I could make a quick decision - just the way I prefer. This was the definition of team work else it just would not have been possible to move in the time allotted - they know what they are doing. Also I got 6 quotes, from a price point it was a no brainer- even my neighbours were surprised at the good price. Others give a quote but with hidden costs - Blue sky don’t! They stood behind their quote. The only stress I had was whether or not they would be available when I needed them to be given I had to change my date 3 times. I found Laura really easy to talk to and she would be there on hand remotely making certain everything was going according to plan and the aftercare was great because she took the time to contact me and ask me if there were any other issues. They are a safe pair of hands - it was like watching poetry in motion.

We had to move to a location 625 miles away. Would Blue Sky be up to the task of coralling our mountain of personal possessions, some fragile and driving it safely through storm force wind and rain? The chaps turned up on time and worked their magic. When we arrived they’d already unloaded all safely with no damage. Firstly, Laura was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to the initial call and came back with a quote almost instantly after providing pictures of what was to be moved. She was also on hand to answer any questions we had before the move took place. On the day itself, we had 3 removal guys in 2 trucks who were on time, polite and helpful. They carefully put all the furniture and packed boxes into the trucks, including dismantling the bed and other large furniture and then reassembled it the other end. In the new house, everything was unloaded into the rooms we requested. Everything was in tact with no damage to anything. From the offset, Laura was amazing and helpful beyond description with myself giving her only a few days notice for our pending move due to our completion date being moved forward unexpectedly. She did her absolute utmost to to accommodate our requirements even though they didn't have availability at that time, she managed to make arrangements using x2 smaller trucks which worked out wonderfully. Then the movers themselves were brilliant, had great attitudes, strong, polite, engaging and had a fabulous sense of humour, especially dealing with a family of people including an older lady who was downsizing from a 7-bed home to a much smaller house so a huge thank you to Mason, Kamil and Daniel. Having never used a removals company before, I was a little hesitant about 'paying someone to do something I could just do myself ' I'm so very glad I decided to hire Blue Sky! The whole process was so easy from the start. I was getting fed up of taking time off work to arrange an appointment for a quotation that other companies insisted on, Blue Sky asked me to do a quick video walkthrough of the house. So much easier!The quote I received was on the low to middle end of the quotes I'd received from other companies so I was pleased but wondering if that would mean a lower level of service?From start to finish the Blue Sky team impressed me! Laura in customer service was brilliant. Very transparent about pricing, she explained all the costs plainly and super fast communication! Moving house is a very stressful thing but they made it lots easier for us! The two nice gentlemen who helped us were very polite and they made sure things were arranged the way we wanted. Unfortunately I forgot to ask their names or offer them hot drinks, because I was busy with my baby as well as moving the house, could only ask Pamela to pass our gratitude onto them. From start to finish the whole process was fantastic. There are no pitfalls or sneaky charges. Laura was always on hand to quickly answer any questions/concerns we had. On the day the guys were very friendly and helpful. Even when we’d moved all the stuff we initially thought there was room to move, the guys made sure we knew there was room left on the vans, so they helped us put more items together to fill the remaining space. You’ve found them in Blue Sky.Our 4,800 cubic feet move was a very large one which was estimated by two very pleasant chaps (sorry – cannot remember their names) who would have been part of the actual removals team. Legal issues with our purchase only surfaced AFTER we had originally booked Blue Sky for 22nd February. With deposit paid, a totally bizarre and unexpected legal delay now became apparent. I had to contact Laura to push back our date to March 3rd and then once again to March 10th. The legal delay was so bad that it became evident that I would need to put my home into store in order to keep my chain intact. I called and discussed this with Laura who was totally brilliant and even came up with lots of different options to help me to make a decision.Let me say a few words about Laura Llorente. What a totally customer focussed, charming and capable young lady! An example of this is that whenever I called her, if she was busy on her phone with another customer, she ALWAYS called me back within 10 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble, and she changed the date of my move THREE times with good grace and incredible humour. We were the customers from hell (Sorry Laura – wasn’t our doing – honest!), but I thank you via this review for your unbelievable skill!Regrettably, I ultimately had to cancel the move with Blue Sky simply because they had no storage facilities in the north of England, and there was no storage for my 750 square foot container needs in the south of England where they are based. Again, I may have been worried about cancelling if I had been with another company, but my deposit was refunded in full – SAME DAY – with good grace and no quibbles. Just “as it says on the can!” type of thing!I have sadly grown used to poor customer service, but Blue Sky totally set themselves apart as a shining example of what terrific customer service should be, that focusses on us, the customer. They even delivered 50 cartons for me to pack up my library in advance of my move! That’s the sort of attention to detail that they deliver. I greatly regret that we could not use them for the actual move, but if their service is reflective of their office-based work and administration, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. I have moved 5 times in 3 years so I know a thing or two about moving. I spoke with Laura who was the main contact at bluesky, who advised me on costs timing. I left it quite late to book around a week and a half before moving (a bit naive of me) and she did her best to accommodate the closest time formy convenience. Great communication throughout with multiple confirmations of order and payment.The two guys who did the heavy lifting were on time, extremely efficient, friendly and didnt miss or damage one item. Especially as I lived in a tricky apartment block with a dodgy lift and long corridors and narrow doorwaysThe price was spot on- ive made the mistake of going cheaper in the past and had absolute disasters. I can honestly say that this company have been absolutely amazing from start to finish communication and getting back so quickly. The operatives that moved us into our new home were very polite and very professional. The way that they loaded their vehicles was like the tardis from Dr Who. Amazed it all fitted WITHOUT any items being damaged. The team of three were also great to chat with during their breaks making the whole day a little less stressful. During the journey to our new home the larger vehicle had a puncture. The repair was done very quickly on the M3 not causing any issue with the team or for us. We had so much concerning and worrying ahead with the whole moving process since we got so many items , including valuable things like expensive computers, music instruments and workshop tools. The team helped us packed ahead, dismantled furniture , moved everything and put all furniture back together on the day very carefully and efficiently. I recently moved my mum from a 2 bed house into a 1 bed retirement property. They team from Blue Sky were amazing! They arrived on time, nothing was a problem, even going up two floors at the retirement property. They were lovely with my mum of 78 and her 23 years of stuff! I'd happily use them again.

Our experience moving with BlueSky was brilliant. They arrived on time (actually early!), dismantled our furniture in less than an hour and reassembled everything super fast at the other end! Our new house is a Victorian Terrace with a very narrow entrance hallway, and they still managed to get in our 3 seater sofa, patio table and bed/mattress. We're really pleased, would recommend.
