Greenwoods Removals

I work for a local charity and booked Greenwoods to do removals for a family the charity supports. The office staff were very helpful and responsive, and the removals guys - Tyler and Terry - arrived on time and were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Thank you to all the Greenwoods team for making the whole process so easy and stress-free for all concerned.

Really poor service, turned up without wardrobe boxes, didn't put runners down until I asked them to, house was filthy by the end of the move. Overall they clearly just wanted to get in and out as quick as possible and didn't care if they did a poor job. Been trying to get in touch with them to complain and no response.

Had a quote with greenwood’s removals. Came round my house. Walked dirt all through my carpets (which hasn’t come out) leading to needing to spend £120.00 getting them cleaned. I called, someone offered for the manager to call back which he never. Then I rang back a few days later to be asked to send emails to hear nothing further. Greenwood’s was actually the cheapest quote I had for my move but the lack of respect to my house led me to think what would they then do to my things under their care! Very poor customer service!

The actual removal men were lovely, however there were many items either broken or badly scratched. These included two pieces of furniture which Greenwood’s paid £250 towards the repairs which I agreed but upon opening the last box, a very expensive serving plate had been smashed which my daughter had made personally by Burleigh for me and cannot be replaced anymore. Generally the packing was not done correctly ie. Knives and forks wrapped safely in bubble wrap whilst china items just in paper. Some items of furniture had not be wrapped at all. There were several scratches and breakages of glass items generally which I think is unacceptable. A lot of my furniture I brought over from South Africa in 2004 without any damages at all so was really surprised to find so many with this move. I did call regarding the further damages, but to date I haven’t heard back. Also the fact that they don’t recycle all the paper they use for each customer, I found staggering in this day and age.

The movers showed up on time and were very polite and worked well together. They wrapped everything to protect our belongings. When we arrived at the new location they checked to see where we wanted our items placed. I would definitely recommend Greenwoods Removals & Storage.

Our move went easily! The movers came in a timely manner and started working. They worked quickly and efficiently. They took great care of everything and wrapped all the furniture for protection and loaded the truck rapidly.

The removal men of Greenwoods Removals turned up on time, having contacted me earlier to confirm their arrival time, and were extremely swift and careful with moving my possessions into their van. Once all my paperwork was signed and keys collected, they were ready at the new property to unload and once again, despite some stairs and a little twisting and turning, they were excellent. All in all the removal and unloading took less than 2.5 hours which was brilliant and provided a really good start to the day. Thank you, Greenwoods!

From the initial estimation meeting to completion of the move, we cannot speak highly enough of the team. The office based staff responded quickly to messages left, including requests for more packing boxes and the guys who performed the actual move were fantastic with the way that they liaised with neighbours at both ends, their patience throughout including a short delay in completion occurring and with the way that they considered our needs.

I arranged this as a very last minute pick up and delivery. The team was professional, friendly and helpful in making all the arrangements. The delivery team worked late into the evening to make sure the Furniture arrived safe and sound. They were professional and helpful I will definitely use this firm again and I am happy to recommend them.

I was really unsure who to choose to help us with our move as there are so many removal companies out there. I contacted them by email and by their response I could tell they knew what they were doing. From giving the quote to carrying out the job everything went smoothly. Two men came to pack for us on the Thursday, they were very polite, worked around us and were so hardworking. The next they arrived with 2 more colleagues to move us to our new home. Again they were very polite and hardworking. They dismantled our sons’ beds and wardrobe and put them back together well. They were very patient about where we wanted our furniture placed in our new home, even providing suggestions where it would be best placed. We had no breakages. We received fantastic service from start to finish.

Greenwood's Removals provided an outstanding service for our move. We needed professionals to move an antique piano, hand-carved wood dining room table and very large china cabinet, keep them in storage during a COVID-19 lockdown, then moved from Chichester to their new destination.
They removed and repositioned these items without a scratch, all while respecting social distancing. The Greenwood's Removal Team successfully disassembled the cabinet and piano and were able to reassemble these heirlooms safely. They were highly professional, friendly and courteous, and we highly recommend their service.

Greenwoods were excellent, no hidden fees and very good value for money. They were always on time, polite and friendly and went out of their way to make sure every got from A to B in 1 piece! Ben and Matt helped my team and I move from a ground floor to first floor office. They incredibly impressively and efficiently dismantled, transferred and reassembled all the large office tables, and removed some extremely heavy filing cabinets without breaking a sweat. Couldn’t recommend Greenwoods removals highly enough!
