I rarely write reviews but I'm making an exception for Corinne and her team/ family. Moving house is stressful but if you hand the removal over to S Rees it'll be one less headache. They were efficient, pleasant and managed to get an enormous fridge freezer up a tricky flight of stairs!

I have used this family business over many years to assist all sorts of removal jobs for me. Recently they undertook a full on removal for me. Always 100% reliable , flexible and with clear charging. The team are very personable and nothing was too much trouble. Nice to have around. Everything was treated with respect and the load well managed. Considerable trouble was taken to ensure period furniture was well protected and stacked. The manager at the storage unit where my load was taken later told me he was hugely impressed with them and how they opreated. Keep up the good work. Many many thanks.

Great service, at only a couple of days notice. Efficient people, and friendly, cleared umpteen cardboard boxes, a sofa and some garden ironwork with no fuss at all.

I needed to clear my mother's house to let it out. I was completely stuck with managing it on my own during lockdown. Corrine and her team were amazing, managing the clearance with tact, sensitivity and efficiency. The house was left spotless on completion. I really appreciated the care that Corrine showed to my mother's belongings, saving photos and other effects that I had overlooked to check what I wanted to keep.

To move us from Southampton to Ludlow we chose a local, family firm - and relieved we did. Of all the competitive quotes we got - unlike the bigger national companies - S. Rees Removals Ltd. didn't chase us. They were friendly, flexible and very understanding when due to house sale delays we had to cancel our 2-day booking twice. Then on moving out day they arrived in Southampton exactly on time, got started and never stopped until the van was fully loaded four hours later. On day Two, to move us in to our 3-bed detached house 75 yards up a track from the nearest vehicle access road, they arrived bang on time again mid morning and had it all done (with zero damages) by mid afternoon. They handled the whole thing with professional care and consideration, made helpful suggestions throughout and turned what could have been a nightmare into a sweet dream of a smooth operation. Corrine and gang are a great bunch of people. Really glad we chose them. Even plumbed in our washing machine!

Absolutely excellent service in every way, cannot recommend highly enough.
I was left the contents of a bungalow which belonged to a 101 year old lady who threw NOTHING away, so you can imagine the clutter. I did all I could until I broke my ankle, so in despair contacted Corrine who came to see the situation, took over everything for me and left the bungalow in an absolutely immaculate state, I could not believe the transformation, that is why I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We moved just 1 mile down the road and Corrine and her team were excellent. Access was quite tight at both properties but they got all of our furniture out and in with no problems. Would definitely recommend.

From start to finish the service of Corrine and her team was professional and efficient. The job was quite arduous in that it involved several stairs and at no point was this considered a problem. It made the business clearance just that bit more difficult though.
Their recommendation of taking several items to an auction was definitely worth it. Saved waste disposal and got a few bob back. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

The team at Rees Removals helped us with our complicated, multi stage move. Corinne and her team were incredibly flexible, sensitive to the stress we were under and totally efficient. I would highly recommend this company. Very professional and left my Aunt's house looking tidy and completely empty as requested. They hovered the carpets too. I would have no hesitation in using them again and their price was competitive. They also ensure that any items of value are taken to the auction house in Ludlow (if you so wish). Once they have been sold the customer receives a cheque directly from the auctioneer.

Steve Rees and his team recently helped our elderly mother move from her home of 42 years to a flat in sheltered housing. At all times they were very kind and professional, I can't recommend this firm enough. Steve showed tremendous kindness and respect to our mother whilst regularly keeping her and supporting family members up to date with what was happening. He helped her sort though a lifetime of possessions and to keep the most treasured ones, something which would have been hard for the family to do. The outcome is that she is happily settling in to her new home and her family are able to visit her without having been through any stress. The move was quick and well carried out, yet at a pace our mother could handle. The professionalism of this company made a huge difference to the whole family.
