This was our second move with Shirleys and as before they took the stress out of the big day with their calmness and professionalism. We opted for the packing service and watched as all our fragile and loved possessions were carefully wrapped up and boxed. On the day the organisation was top notch. One or two of our pieces of furniture appeared too big to get into our new home in Hove and as we were thinking how we'd have to put them into storage the ladies calmly used their experience and ingenuity to bring everything in! So Shirleys are thoroughly recommended

What pros! Magali, along with another team member, brought such good energy to our moving day. We were very stressed leading up to the move, as this was our second in less than a year, but they made the day as painless as possible. They showed up right on time, and immediately game-planned the best way to load and organize our stuff into the truck. Once at the new house, they were quick to unload, bringing our boxes and bigger pieces of furniture upstairs to their proper rooms. And they finished an hour sooner than we had originally been quoted, which saved us some money (though they are already very well-priced for their services)! It was such a nice experience to be in the hands of a women-owned company. We've had teams of three and four men move us before, and Shirleys' were undoubtedly faster and more efficient. Wendy was also a pleasure to communicate with via email, helping to size up our move, providing a fast and fair quote, and sharing tips for how many boxes to get and where to purchase the right ones. If you ever need movers, Shirleys is it.

Just wow! What a brilliant bunch of people. The crew of three worked so hard to get us moved into our new home. They were friendly, offered good advice, and consulted throughout to make sure that everything was in the best possible place. Not a spot of damage to the new (rented) flat despite navigating narrow and twisty spaces with sofas, shelves and all sorts. Oh, and they made quick work of assembling the bed. I used these guys to move from London to Sussex & picked the option to let them do all the boxing up while I ran a hundred errands! They were brilliant! I arrived home to a completely boxed-up flat! They even took down curtains & curtain rails! Wendy & the team talked me through everything and were always at the end of the phone for any worries. In Sussex, they manoeuvred some twisty stairs, and a lift being where it shouldn't! They never complained, but we're cheerful, friendly & very professional! We had a great experience with Shirleys Removals, from start to finish. Wendy made booking very easy, and along with Magali and the rest of the team, made our moving day a breeze. The day we moved was extremely hot and at the last minute a car was parked in our suspended parking bays, but they took everything in their stride and remained positive throughout, even finishing faster than expected. Moving with Shirleys was a very positive experience; we were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

We booked Shirley's to move us out of our old flat, put all our things in storage, and 3 weeks later move us into our new flat. They arranged everything, we did not have to worry about organizing storage or those logistics, and they got the whole flat into the van in 1 hour! The team were very friendly and we felt safe and comfortable. It was very important to us to have LGBTQ+ friendly movers, as we have not always had good experiences. The backstory of Shirley's is amazing too, she started up helping people when there was huge discrimination against people who were HIV positive, and others would not move them. I'd very much recommend them!

I would give Shirleys Removals more than 5 stars if I could! While the team from Shirleys were helping us pack we found out there would be no one from the council to open the gate to our new estate on Saturday when the move was booked for. This would mean the van would have to park very far away and the move would take longer and cost much more. Wendy managed to switch our move date to Friday instead and the team went above and beyond to move us in the fastest and most cost-effective way possible. I can not recommend them enough! Wendy, Magali and their team are professional, responsive, kind, and they made the whole moving process as easy as possible for us!

Shirleys provided us with a really excellent service moving house. The packing was done with care and attention. The unloading team worked really hard to get everything into our house that is quite a tricky space to negotiate. We also had to make changes to our dates due to unforeseen circumstances, and this was dealt with very well and managed smoothly. I would highly recommend and would definitely use this service again. SHIRLEY'S came highly recommended from a friend and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. I can't rave about it enough.
