Very happy with SJ removals. I have got to say, they aren't easily fased - I wish I had taken a photo of them taking the piano up the steep front steps because that was not for the fainthearted. But they did it and they did it well and still with a sense of humour. I would happily use them again (although they might not feel the same way if the piano is involved).Very happy with SJ removals. I was guaranteed a removals slot. On the day, they didn’t return any of my calls or texts. Nor did they show up on the day and left me with no way of moving house. Do not recommend whatsoever absolutely diabolical service. Do not use. Update: he then proceeded to share this review publicly to his personal profile asking if anyone “knew who I was”. Extremely un professional and threatening behaviour

amazing!!!! Absolutely amazing folks at Sj removals, Cheerful, efficient and no-nonsense approach to the job was massively appreciated. Moving can be stressful but they made the entire experience almost fun with how easy it was to talk/banter with them. We had some difficult furniture to move out of a 1st floor window but these guys did it without batting an eye, safely and securely. In a nutshell, hands down amazing, I've had the pleasure of working with. Thank you

Over charged for the removal, a hole put in my wall while getting my sofa into the property no offer to repair it! Broke my daughters tv said he would replace! Even said he’d transferred the money in to my account it’s been weeks and still nothing. I gave plenty of chances before resorting to bad feedback! Brilliant service from these guys, we've used them several times. They always work really hard and get the job done with no fuss.

On extremely short notice (2 days) they did a fantastic job! Extremely quick at loading and unloading items and very careful as well. They also helped take the items (including kingsize mattresses up a very narrow staircase) up the stairs and into the correct rooms. Saved us lots of stress and at a very very good price! We’ve used SJ removals twice in recent weeks. Both James & Scott were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, on time for the job, completely professional with handing our belongings and very respectful. I used sJ removals back in January for a house move , its my first ever move and I didn’t really organise my self very well & the lads only had a hour ... oops . They both where so understanding and helpful the lads smashed it out literally took everything and done two pick ups for me so i wasn’t left with anything to carry . Top service and customer care , the young lad was brilliant very polite , true crafter. I booked these guys a couple of weeks in advance to move us. They didn't have the decency to tell me that they had double booked me! They did ask another removal company to do the job, and they did it extremely well. But they could have told me that they had double booked. Communication is poor. I had to chase them up myself today and I’ve still heard nothing back about the item which was supposed to be picked up today between 1 and 3. I had the pleasure to meet and hire James to help move my 3 bed house. The word fast doesn't fit. He moved at super speed and he was extremely careful my belongings. They were an hour and a half late although James had phoned to say they were running an hour late. They were quick because I helped and leant them the tools. They disconnected the washing machine but didn't put the cap back on the pipe at the old address. Reconnected it wrong at the new address which cost me £75 to get the machine reconnected properly and fixed. The plastic cap on the outlet pipe also hadn't been removed so when it was connected the force broke the cap and pushed it down the hose pipe blocking and damaging the pipe. A new hose pipe is another £15. When I emailed James to query a refund for the repair cost he blamed the flat. There were also a couple of minor breakages. They were pleasant but after this costly experience I won't use them again or recommend them. This was the first time I used them because they were available at short notice and claimed to know how to disconnect and reconnect the washing machine.

Great service. Got let down by R Removals today, called SJ and even tho I've been told they are finished working for today, after hearing what happened decided to come and help us move our stuff. Very fast, took less than 20 minutes to arrive after a phone call, another 10 minutes to load and unload after. Very friendly and professional with great customer service skills. Highly recommend and will use again in the future �Great service. Hired this company to pick up some wardrobes we bought. They did a good job even taking the wardrobe apart taking it upstairs and putting it back together again because it wouldn't fit up the stairs. We hired them again for a house move for our Son. They were late because of an accident on the road holding up the traffic but they rang to let us know. Quick, efficient and helpful. These lads were amazing!!! They made our house move quick, easy, affordable and got it done in one trip. They quoted us two vans two guys, two vans and 3 guys turned up! They were very good when I asked them to transport 6 undisclosed packages from Columbia to the streets of Plymouth.
