I had to move a relatively short distance (30 miles) in South Wales, however the whole experience from the team at Falconers was very stress-free. The pre-move survey was completed quickly, in person and professionally, and there was an intent to make me feel comfortable and establishing a trusting relationship.
The move day itself went so quickly, and even my neighbours from my leaving house were impressed by how polite and professional the team were. They were quick and were very mindful of treating my possessions and furniture with respect.
Items of furniture that needed dismantling were re-built at the new house (in fact a wardrobe that hadn't been correctly built previously is now perfect, thanks to Falconers!). The team were also experienced and careful with valuable items (I have a grandfather clock, which was dismantled and re-built with expertise).
They provided as much packing materials as I needed and that was very helpful for me to pack and unpack.
A great team and a great experience, thank you!

The furnituture was moved carefully but quickly, and everything has come out of storage in great condition - they didn't even need much dusting! Nathan and the boys also did a great job moving things into my new home - several tight stairs to navigate. Highly recommended.

From the very first phone call we made to the home visit to assess the job, packing away all of Mum’s possessions and delivering with kindness to her new home. They were wonderful and it was effortless. Nathan and crew were true gents and assembled Mum’s bed and TV. With their wealth of experience they have helped me move all over the UK.
On past occasions they have also packed all my belongings into boxes and dismantled beds and wardrobes, which I’d recommend.
All you need to provide is tea and coffee on the day.

[review_content] => Not sure why I’ve been asked to give feedback 11 months after moving but that’s symptomatic of Chapman’s. They’re just not very good.
1. We agreed they’d pack and part load a van the day before. 1 guy turned up and packed some stuff. No van was available so the next day was going to be busier than necessary.
2. The lorry arrived and 3 guys spent 40 minutes trying to park it. The idea that one of them could’ve cracked on with packing was lost on them.
3. Packing the rest of the house went at a snail’s pace. They eventually called for back up with about an hour to go before we had to be out. We made it by 3 minutes. Massively stressful.
4. The packing and moving was abysmal. Things bent in half to fit in boxes, heavy books thrown on top of plants. Pictures smashed. Furniture scratched. Walls gouged. Attitude to this when we complained was appalling and the claim process made very difficult.
5. They very nearly drove to the wrong address. I mean, their literal job is to go from one place to another, but that seemed to tax them.
All in all, we were really unhappy and simply couldn’t recommend anyone uses them.

[review_content] => Generally very happy. The removal guys were very good, helpful and couldn’t do enough. They took the stress out of the situation as best they could. Paul and Elaine and everyone we dealt with in the office were fantastic, they were very understanding as the move fell through on several occasions.
Packing up was a little bit hit and miss, on Day 1 of a 3 day move, our tea and coffee was packed away which didn’t make any sense. Also some of the boxes couldn’t be found for a while and the labelling on some of the boxes wasn’t explanatory enough . Our pillows which we really needed to sleep were eventually found in a box labelled ´lamp’ and our toothbrushes and wash kits were in the garage. However it generally worked very well so possibly just one person within the team caused the issues as out of 100 boxes, about 90 were labelled well and were in the right place. I would definitely recommend, just a few things needed tweaking. Thank you to the whole team involved, they worked very hard and it was a long few days and a lot of large items to move. They seriously know what they’re doing!

We had a very difficult experience getting to exchange of contracts (with multiple delays and problems in a long chain) and they were a constant calm and helpful presence throughout, putting up with many changes and lots of phone calls. They found solutions for our difficulties, which in our experience is very rare in the house conveyancing process.
For the move itself, they were efficient, clean and careful. Our house was packed and transported and we have all our belongings in good order in our new home.
Their pricing was competitive with other quotes, and the overall service they provided was truly excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending them to all my family and friends.

Horrible horrible experience on July 4th 2023. The owner was rude arrogant and threatening towards me in my own home and in front of my children. They took more that 12 hours to move us less than half a mile down the road. We have scratched and damaged property, smashed items and we’re still trying to locate some items. We had to move a whole room ourselves as he failed to tell us on his quote visit (that took over an hour and half) that he would be selective on what he would take in the day, including boxed items and clothing that was bagged. Below you’ll see pictures of how our belongs were abandoned and dumped in the wrong rooms, on the wrong floors of our new home and how we were unable to even use the bathroom as Stefan decided to fill our bathroom with bags of bedding. Despite the fact that every box bag and item was labelled and the doors in gbe new house numbered to correspond!
I have tried to discuss the issue amicably with the company but Stefan took no ownership and offered no apology. He simply blamed our property for having 3 bedrooms on one floor!

[review_content] => I was recommended to Stefan(Mr move it) by another removals company when they were unavailable on the required date. Fortunately Stefan was available, and also managed to find us storage for our belongings.
On the day of the move Stefan and his team were very polite and courteous to neighbours due to the style of street and parking being a nightmare at the best of times. He was also very considerate to the property we were leaving behind by laying down mats etc and also ensuring our belongings were kept safe.
Stefan also gave us advice on how to dismantle some furniture which was greatly received.
We currently still have our belongings in storage but once we have been successful in acquiring a property I will have no concerns on Stefan delivering them without any issues.

I couldn't have asked for a nicer more helpful bunch to help us move and not only were they efficient, but they were insanely quick. The house was emptied in around an hour and a half (3 bed detached with garage) and the new house was filled back up with the same stuff in 45 minutes. Customer service exceeded anything I've experienced before. Not only giving advice on how to prepare for the moving process, but solid knowledge of the moving process which really came from the heart.
On the day of the move, when there's isn't any fight left you, they came in like thunder, shifted everything in a matter of hours into the Luton, packed it safe & solid and were on their way before I could even think about lunch!
Unpacking on the other end was a dream, they had twigged where all the furniture and boxes had come from and put it into their corresponding rooms, built furniture I didn't have a clue how to do, laughing and joking all the way.
Solid salt of the earth guys, my Mrs even made friends with them on Facebook!
